Titanium Alloy
Vulcan proudly uses Titanium Alloy Ti-6Al-4V ELI, which is renowned for its strength, compared to commercially pure grades of Titanium. This strength advantage increases the long term success of both implants and abutments, particularly in for small-diameter platforms and cantilevered restorations. The Titanium alloy composition used by Vulcan has been employed successfully in human implant applications in contact with soft tissue and bone for over a decade. This alloy is used as a reference material when testing the biocompatibility of other materials.
Sagemax Zirconia
Vulcan offers the 1st generation translucent zirconia in order to provide excellent esthetics while at the same time blocking out titanium understructures.
